Basketball for Kids

13 to 18 (as of Jan I)

Fall-Winter

Saturday Program

for both girls & boys

Typical Session

3/4 hours skills and drills

One hour basketball games played using all the rules of basketball with minor adjustments where necessary until players have an adequate set of skills.

Purpose

Fun

To learn and expand on the basics of basketball.

Small size 7 balls are used.

Baskets are at regulation height (10').

When

Saturday from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m.

Season starts - Sat. Oct. 16, 2004

(The weekend after Thanksgiving)

Season ends - May 14, 2005

(Includes Sat. leading into March Break -

approximately 17 Saturdays)

Where

Old Erin Public School - 185 Main Street
in the Village of Erin.

Cost

FREE. (Donations are necessary, in lieu of a registration fee, to help keep basketball supremely affordable for everyone.)
