Typical Session

3/4 hours skills and drills

3/4 hour basketball games played using Erin Hoops adjusted Rules of Play. (Click the blue to see these rules.)

Purpose

Fun

To learn and expand on the basics of basketball.

Small size 6 balls are used.

Baskets are at regulation height (10').

To provide a unique environment encouraging girls to develop their skills in basketball (free of the competitiveness of boys).

When

Saturday from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m.

Season starts - Sat. Oct. 16, 2004

(The weekend after Thanksgiving)

Season ends - May 14, 2005

Cost

FREE. (Donations are necessary, in lieu of a registration fee, to help keep basketball supremely affordable for everyone.)
