The day after our first ever
Digital Photography Camp
a parent wrote us,

"Hello,

My daughter took your digital photography camp this year and had the time of her life. She signed up with her friend and they both had lots of fun. It's definitely a camp they would do again next year.

Purpose

Who Anyone 8 and older, including adults too.
When
Week Four - July 23 to 27, 2012

Week Six - Aug. 6 to 10, 2012

Week Eight - Aug. 20 to 24, 2012

All Camps from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm daily.

Gym at MAIN PLACE will be open and supervised for Camp participants to play... or to work on their photographic efforts from 8:30 am till 6:00 pm.
 

Where THE MAIN PLACE in the Old Erin Public School AT 185 Main Street, Erin.

We will be going everywhere in the Village of Erin to get that greatest photo. 

Content

 

Learn to take better and better pictures.

 

Learn to edit pictures to improve your images.

 

Four Apple Computers will be available for working on your photographs.

 

Make and produce your OWN slide shows.

 

Photo taking trips will be made throughout the Village of Erin.

 

Portraits, Landscapes, Still Life, etc. will be taken.

 

Even "studio" photography will happen.

 

Camera video will also be done at times, providing cameras have the capability.

 

Show Time
Erin Talent On Display.

Everyone is encouraged to come and see the photos and the Drama-Skits Camp campers put on an afternoon (3 pm) Talent Show using the gym's stage.

Admission is free, though our donation jar is available.

Obviously EVERYONE is welcome to come and clap, praise and cheer the youths of Erin "hamming" it up.

Special Note
Campers MUST have their own Digital Camera that is fully charged for each day.

Campers MUST have SD card.

Plus a USB camera cable to link their camera to the USB port on the our APPLE computers.

Erin Hoops will try to have computers, photo editing programming and even a camcorder on a tripod for campers to use.

Cost
Advance payment Camp Fee - $55.00 for the week.
Send payment to Erin Hoops, c/o Patrick Suessmuth, R.R.#2, Hillsburgh, Ont.  N0B 1Z0 or drop off fee at MAIN PLACE.

At the door Camp Fee - $75.00 for the week.

Day Camper Fee is $20 for any full day or $15 for a half day they attend as a friend or guest.

Registration in advance is necessary. 

Register early to avoid disappointment.

Registration is on a first come, first served basis.

About our

Coaches

and Coaching
 

Coaching ratio: 1 coach to 10 campers MAXIMUM

Coaches will be at least one adult per camp with remaining coaches being Erin Hoops trained university and older high school students.  These coaches bring over 20 years of camp leadership skills in our camps into the 2012 Summer Camps.

Our coaching philosophy consists of coaches using:
               high praising

                   high verbal
                     high encouragement
                       high interpersonal skills
                         high feedback
