Family and Novice Basketball

Note: Everyone, young and old alike, are welcome to join in our fun. Any experienced player who comes out to these evenings is expected to instruct and coach others. |

Recreational.
Everyone Welcome - young and old alike. For Families to play and have fun together. For Novices learning Basketball for the first time. For developing new (and long lost) skills. To learn to actually make a basket CONSISTENTLY. For developing skills to allow you to join in other Erin Hoops programs feeling comfortable enough to play competently. Instructing/Coaching help will be available for all to draw on to sense the joy of basketball.

Low basket and small balls for kids 3
to 8. Parents are expected to play and be available for their kids.
Practical advice/coaching/instructing will be available. People of all ages will be in the gym together. Everyone will have their own ball. Everyone can do "their own thing". Gym shoes are require. (Street cloths are acceptable, though sport apparel may be personally worn.) No full court games will be played though any small group can start a game at any of the baskets as long as it does not interfere with others. The gym is to be shared on any given Wednesday in such a way that all people showing up to play have equal rights, be they big or small. |

FREE. (Donations are necessary, in lieu of a registration fee, to help keep basketball supremely affordable for everyone.)

Registration is necessary. Just show up planning on having fun. Attendance is voluntary and totally random. |
